What do your eyes tell you about yourself?

Most people have the same color of the eyes as their parents do. Some people have an in between version of their parents eyes. Did you know the way your eyes look can tell you something about your mood? In the middle ages, people used to believe that the body consisted of four humors: Blood, yellow bile, black bile and phlegm These humors were related to the four seasons and four elements. The humors were very decisive for the state of mind of medieval men and women [🡪 Click to read more on humors]. Hildegard of Bingen had a theory about these humors. Check here what your eyes tell you about yourself!

Grey eyes
Grey eyes draw from the element of air. This eye-color tells you that your eyes are weaker than others. This is because air can be influenced by many circumstances, like temperature. This means that if your eyes are grey, they are most likely sensitive!

Fiery eyes
Fiery eyes are dark eyes with a light, fiery core. These eyes draw from the element of fire and are very healthy! Beware of dust and bad stench: This is very bad for fiery eyes! Have you got fiery eyes? Avoid deserts and nasty toilets!

Eyes with more than one color
Eyes that consist of more than one color are like clouds in which a rainbow appears. Eyes with different colors in them are often weak, because they draw from instable air. People with these kinds of eyes cannot see very well when it’s extremely hot, and they have difficulties with brightness. Does your iris consist of more than one color? Fat chance you can see quite clearly in damp weather!

Blue-grey eyes
Blue-grey eyes draw from the element of earth. These eyes can be harmed by infirmities, but mostly people with these kinds of eyes can see quite clearly! Blue-grey eyes are not affected by the weather as much. So, if you have blue-grey eyes, you can go outside safely even if it’s damp, dry, hot or cold!

Black eyes
Black eyes draw from the element of earth, just like blue-grey eyes. Do you have black eyes? Well, lucky you! Black eyes are characterized by sharp and acute vision, because they draw power from the earth. Beware of moist and water however, like when you’re near a swamp. Your eyes can’t handle dampness very well.
